Kingdom Kids Inc.

The Kingdom Kids (Sunday July 16)

The Kingdom Kidz Puppet Ministry was birthed at St. Andrew's UMC, Milton Pa in December 2000 while Miss Donna, President/CEO was on staff as the Children's Ministry Coordinator. Within 2 years of the founding, the team decided its mission was to go beyond the walls of the church. They would provide quality family programs and encouragement to others.

God lead us to become a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization with the process beginning in January 2009
through incorporation.

January 2010 we were granted our nonprofit status. Another step in the faith journey began. As a faith based business, God is our Provider and we trust HIM daily to provide through HIS people our every need and direction. We filed as both a religious and educational nonprofit.

Since 2000, Kingdom Kidz have traveled thousands of miles to do presentations in churches, public and private schools, community events and so much more. In 2012, 2 divisions were created to serve the by-line, Education Through Puppetry. These divisions are Kingdom Kidz Puppet Ministry (religious programs) and Kidz4Education (educational programs). The variety of programs can be viewed on our website at www.hiskingdomkidz.org. Kingdom Kidz is funded through donations, fundraisers, programming, and Grants. Gifts are tax deductible less the value of any goods provided. Kingdom Kidz is not affiliated with a church or denomination.

January 1, 2013 Miss Donna handed the Director responsibilities to Lisa Derr who had been with the
team 10 years. Donna then assumed the daily operations, financial responsibilities and teaching others about Kingdom Kidz and thier passion to reach others for Jesus and present Education Through Puppetry, as the President/CEO.

In 2014, Kingdom Kidz moved into the old United Methodist Church (11 E 3rd St. Watsontown) and rented the building until God provided a way for them to purchase the building, which was purchased by Kingdom Kidz in 2017. Although many programs are presented on the road, we are now presenting puppet programs and FREE movies at the Puppet Home monthly. In addition, room renovations have been completed in the educational wing and feature the following rooms: broadcasting, crafts, sewing room, blacklight room and Kidz' city. 2 of the rooms are equipped with puppets and staging for children to be creative and try their hand at puppetry.

In the sewing room they can create a puppet to take home. Also, Peggy's Palace is a large room setup
for many photo opts with cardboard life size trains, a fishing pond, large cardboard animals, a tree with photos to adopt puppets and large popcorn machine which provides a snack for the 2 programs shown each month. The rooms in the educational wing will be open to the public in the near future and will be offered to homeschoolers, preschools, day cares, and public/private schools for children of all ages to expand their creativity.

In 21 years of presenting puppetry, we have seen lives changed on the team and in public venues (by way of their talking to us following a program). Our mission is "Presenting quality programs through excellent puppetry and providing educational experiences to foster individual creativity in order to encourage others to make a difference and to help us show people they matter".

In 2021 we created virtual programs and renovated the educational wing of the Puppet Home. Because of COVID, the on the road programs were shortened. We also renovated the JULIE M HOLMES CREATIVE ARTS CENTER with upgraded technical equipment (lighting, sound and 85"TV) to enhance our puppet programs. Again, you can find us on our website at www.hiskingdomkidz.org, or on our Facebook page.
