The Rev. Ben Scott, Ph.D.

Pastor Ben's first visit to LVCM was Thursday, July 22.  His message was enjoyed by all in attendance.

Pastor Ben has served as Pastor at Lykens Valley Bible Church, Southern Baptist Convention, since October 2004. Trained at Lancaster Bible College, Dallas Theological Seminary (DTS), and the University of North Texas, he brings to Thursday night’s Bible study at LVCM a wealth of Bible knowledge, an outline you can follow, and practical applications that’ll make you think and laugh.

Pastor Ben has served churches in Oklahoma, Texas, and Pennsylvania as well as an administrative faculty member at DTS and Philadelphia Biblical University (PBU), Langhorne, PA. Within PBU’s Bible Department, he specializes in the fields of church and prophecy, having taught both undergraduates and graduate students. He possesses a great love for traditional hymns of the church.

Pastor Ben enjoys driving his Bad Boy Buggy through the woods on trails, cooking, kayaking, and hunting ground hogs. He loves the beach and the Simpsons, but please don’t hold the latter against him!
