Dr. Stuart was born in Oklahoma, and raised in Lexington, Mass. 

He is a graduate of the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and has also studied at Anderson Theological Seminary, Harvard, Boston University, Andover-Newton Theological School, and Vanderbilt University.  He has a Ph.D. in Religion (Biblical Studies) from Vanderbilt.

 

Taught at United Wesleyan College, La Salle University, Evangelical School of Theology, and Messiah College.

He is an ordained minister of the Church of God and has pastored churches, camps & conferences in more than 15 denominations from the United States to Inida (and has spoken to as many as 20,000 people at one time).

He has written for a number of publications including Christianity Today, the Complete Biblical Library, the International Standard Bible Encylclopedia, Evangelical Quarterly and has written Preaching, Teaching & Yelling the Bible and The Punishing God.

His teaching on Fri.& Sat, July 16, & 17, Wed.,- Fri., July 21-23 was in depth and thought provoking.
