Rev. Grace Lawrence Shirk

Affectionately known as "Pastor Grace", she is well known and loved at LVCM, throughout the valley and beyond. 
Pastor Grace filled in for Pastor Ben while he and his wife attended an out-of-state wedding.  She is responsible for writting the Camp Devotional and led in worship on Sunday, July 17.  We are blest to have her at LVCM.

Grace Lawrence Shirk has served American Baptist Churches U S A since 1976, serving in a national office, leading spiritual retreats, writing for publications, teaching and presenting clown minisdtry and as pastor in residence at the mission center in Valley Forge, PA.  She was ordained to the Christian ministry and served at the First Baptist Church Lykens and First Baptist Church in Lewistown.  She is currently supplying at Zeltenreich United Church of Christ, New Holland.  She served as spiritual director for L V CM and has been guest preacher as well.  Grace served as the former mayor of Lykens  She is the wife of Bud Shirk.  Together they have 8 adult children, 15 grandchildren and 9 great grand children.  Here at LVCM they enjoy the Twice Blest Cottage #6.
