Lykens Valley Campmeeting was delighted to have the dynamic group of young folks known to many throughout the region (and the nation) as Re-Creation return to Lykens Valley Camp on Sunday, July 18 at 7:00 PM.
They presented a sacred program which featured both traditional and contemporary styles, sing-a-long hymns and children’s songs, dramatic works and original music.

This year's program, "LOVE" was a live worship experience unlike any other!
Dynamic vocal blend combined with a lively, yet sensitive state-of-the-art sound
Tasteful, appropriate presentation
Light staging / Fun elements
Congregational participation
Biblically referenced songs!
Re-Creation was founded in 1976 to provide live professional entertainment to hospitalized veterans and others. Since that time the group has appeared in churches of all denominations, at some of the nation's most prestigious fairs and festivals, at local, regional, state and national corporation banquets and conventions, and at major resort areas. Civic clubs, fraternal groups,
schools, and public and private organizations now keep Re-Creation booked for more than 300 concerts each year in all 50 states.
The young people in Re-Creation are not paid for their service. They give up at least a year of their lives to travel the country entertaining. Their main mission is to entertain the men and women in our VA Medical Centers. If you’ve seen them before, you know what quality entertainment they provide. If you haven’t had the opportunity to attend one of their concerts you will surely want to plan on attending -- Sunday, July 18-- 7:00 PM. A link to their website can be found on the links page in the Miscellaneous menu.
