Reminders:

LVCM's annual Campers' Ice Cream Social will be held on Saturday, September 4 at 5:00 PM at the picnic pavilion.  Bring a covered dish, salad or dessert to share.  For the first time in a number of years, Janet reports that the Ice Cream Stand is sold out of ice cream.  Home made ice cream for the occassion is requested.   Come out an enjoy this "end of summer" celebration.

Fall Meeting of the Stockholders & BOM 

The annual Fall Meeting of the Stockholders and Board of Managers will be held at the campground on Sunday, September 19 at 2:00 PM.  Election of officers and board members will be held.  Be sure to come out and cast your vote.


Sock it to the Siding  

Thanks to the generosity of campers, the "Sock-it-to-the-Siding" campaign was a BIG success.  The cost of this year's Improvement Projects have been completely covered.  Thanks to everyone who helped!  The Boarding House looks beautiful thanks to new siding and a lot of elbow grease and paint.  The back of the tabernacle is also looking crisp and clean and will be protected for years to come.

Silent Auction

The third annual silent auction provided campers with a lot of fun, many bargains and much needed support for camp programs.  This year the Silent Auction raised  $1,264.566.  Almost 100 items were sold.  Thanks to those who provided items and to those who bid.
