Youth -- 2009

2009 Youth Highlights
Between 25-30 youth participated in LVCM on a daily basis.
Program Components
Morning Devotions with topics such as Truth, God's Love/Value, Forgiveness, Faith/Trust and Christian Living.
Afternoon activities kept the youth bustling with soccer, touch football, volley ball and the Mission Project. Soccer seemed to be the favorite!
Evening meetings with a variety of speakers who discussed topics pertinent to the lives of youth.
Memorable Moments
Mission Project Representatives of the boro & Elizabethville Park service were so appreciative of the help it received from the Campground. As a matter of fact, they stated that we accomplished work that would have taken employees 3 weeks to complete. 52 amazing children & youth participated in our first Mission to the Community event.
Youth Night Service
For the first time in the history of the campground, a service was completely and totally done by the youth, from start to finish. 28 youth participated in the service on Friday, July 17, 2009. In addition, several other youth opted to "be on camera" (via video presentations) instead of in the spotlight of the front of the tabernacle.
Youth lead the congregation in Praise and Worship, Opening Prayer, Special Music, Offertory, Spoken word, 2 video presentations that spoke their own message and Closing Prayer.
Thank you
The camp is appreciative to Mark & Tony for their leadership, to the various speakers and to the many parents who assisted in a variety of ways. THANK YOU to all.
