2012 Kids' Korner
with the Morrison's
We had a great time during Kid’s Korner this past encampment. The number of children grew each night, ending up with about 20 in attendance. We met Sunday evening through Thursday, having to dodge a bit of rain the first night by using a big tarp to walk under. Each night after prayer and singing we had a visit by “Super Christian” who helped us focus on that night’s theme. Mrs. Morrison told a five session story of Amy Carmichael, missionary toIndiaeach evening and we watched a DVD of her life story on Wednesday. We pray this challenged the children to desire God’s leading in their own lives and to trust Him for their every need. We ended up Kid’s Korner on Thursday with our annual bonfire and s’more roast. As always, this is a highlight as a great amount of marshmallows are consumed! We thank the Lord for this opportunity to instill God’s truths into the hearts and minds of the children who come and are encouraged by their growth in Christ each year.
