Sid Bream

Sid played first base for ten years in the major leagues and had the privilege to play in four consecutive National League playoffs and two World Series. Sid’s famous slide that scored the winning run in the 1992 National League championship game that sent the Atlanta Braves to the World Series is remembered in baseball as one of the all time highlights of League championship
play.
Sid shares a simple message that all can understand and how these accomplishments pale in comparison to his relationship with Jesus Christ. He participated in the Children & Youth Night on Friday, July 22.
Free Bream basesball cards were given to team members (Little League and other sports) who wore their uniform or team jersey to the service.
